small issue!

My system keeps trying to install a "Multimedia Audio Controller", what is that? I have Windows XP Home and a Abit KV7 motherboard. Please help.

Do you have onboard sound or a sound card? Does Device Manager show any yellow "!" ?

This message is generally a sound card driver. If you are not using the onboard sound, disable the onboard in the BIOS.
