Question Will two versions of Nero conflict

Hi,
I'm going to buy a Lite-On DVD burner, I noticed it had Nero burning software, I have a Teac CD burner now that uses Nero. If I install the DVD burner with it's version Nero will it conflict with my CD burner's Nero?
TIA

Not sure why you'd even attempt this since you alreay have Nero installed. While in Nero you just tell it which burner you want to use.

babylon5guy,
You seem to be stuck with two OEM copies of Nero, each keyed to its own recorder.
You might try simply installing your new recorder and see if your old copy of Nero recognises it. If you try to install your new copy of Nero, you will most likely end up with no recognition for your older drive.

Your best option is to spring for a retail copy of Nero: it will support both recorders at once and also will offer several options not available with the OEM version, such as an inbuilt virus scanner and the ability to write to more than one drive at a time.

(Get the Ultra Edition)

You will need the codecs and an extra serial number from Ahead to make your original version of Nero capable of burning DVD's, the best thing to do is uninstall your original version and just install the new version, the new version will have the capability of burning CD's and DVD's.
