how to uninstall service pack 2?
I see it in add/remove programs but is it really that easy? Will it affect anything when I remove it?
TIA |

I have not done it myself, however I highly doubt it would erase/remove anything important, I would not worry about it. If you like, it can never hurt to be on the safe side and backup anything of importance, and maybe create a restore point before doing it, although the restore may not work since it is such a large change.
You shouldn't have any trouble with it IMO. namakan |

Are you having issues with it? Just wondering why you want to remove it.

I did the uninstall once shortly after SP-2 came out cause I had a few software issues that later were fixed with updates. The affects for me were not too great I went from having a 30 second boot time to almost 4 minuets, I could not determine the cause and had to nuke and pave.
