Windows 98, XP and 2000 in a Network Environment

We had these computers in our office which are part of our existing network, one has Windows 98 on it, the other, with XP and lastly Windows 2000..Before, although they have different OSs installed on them, they could see each other on our network. But lately, they could not see each other on the LAN. But then I realized that the one installed with Windows 98 was not properly log at the network..every time it starts up. It has this box which lets you log in to the network when you start Windows 98, complete with password???, all i have to do is log in and that solved the problem. Now, my problem is, the one with Windows 2000 on it, I don't know how I could log to the network, it does not display "log in" box similar to the Windows 98...Windows XP has no problem in logging in..Can anybody tell me how to "log in" to the LAN in Windows 2000

They are with with the same workgroup, the problem is, it seems that the one with Windows 2000 running on it does not automatically log to the network when it starts, but it can surf the net...
