There are games you could play in DOS - like when I was still on my Windows 95 (or was it 98?) desktop, I played Dinosaur Tycoon on DOS - that was lots of fun

There were lots of games that ran in DOS when I first got started messing with computers. If you look around you might be able to find some. I remember playing stuff like the original DOOM and Duke Nukem from DOS.

Why do you want to do something "fun" from dos?

I uses dos at work daily (backup purposes) and home every second day to rename files/move files etc.

try here for some win 3.1 and DOS games

Btw i actually installed Prince of Persia yesterday and was playing that, never did finish it!

Excellent games! Makes me wanna build a DOS box to play them again.

Lamilia, other than games, nothing comes to mind... Programing in GWBASIC was fun, though.

Yeah, I think he's wanting to program a game, instead of playing one. I believe he just wants to tinker with it and see what he can do.
