How to install application for all users

How do I install an application so that it's available to all users who log on to the computer?

I'd like to put an app on the top half of the start bar, not in the programs section.

This is in a situation where the computer is in a domain, and multiple domain users may log on to it.

Thanks

Gary

that should be easy enough. unless you've done something with the file permissions or the program requires the user to have higher right, all that you'll probably have to do is drop a shortcut for the program in:

\WINNT\Profiles\all users\start menu\

for windows NT, or:

\Documents and Settings\all users\start menu\

for windows 2000.
