Welcome to PCMECH buster07!
That STOP message can be anything from faulty hardware to faulty software/drivers. Did the system work fine BEFORE Broadband/Anti Virus software was installed? If so, then either one of them could be the culprit. Boot into Safe Mode, and remove the broadband software, and see if the problem persists. HTH. |

Stop 0x0000000A or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
The Stop 0xA message indicates that a kernel-mode process or driver attempted to access a memory location to which it did not have permission, or at a kernel interrupt request level (IRQL) that was too high. A kernel-mode process can access only other processes that have an IRQL lower than, or equal to, its own. This Stop message is typically due to faulty or incompatible hardware or software. http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d...d_stp_hwpg.asp Read this it may help you!!!

It may be that you have encountered a problem with a known bug in earlier versions of NAV 2005. Check out the Symantec (Norton) support article for this error [it occurs just after you install NAV 2005] http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...av&svy=&csm=no
The article describes how to (carefully!) delete some Registry keys, then download the newer version of SymEvent (the part of NAV 2005 that causes the error) & install the newer version. That might do the trick . . . Gary [P.S. ... Noticed this is your first post here: Welcome to the PC Mechanic forums! ... ] Last edited by GaryRouth; 06-25-2005 at 01:47 AM. Reason: added a Welcome |
