xp pro screen problem

hey guy
i just got a used sony VAIO PCG - R505EL 1.13 Ghz 256Mb 30Gb 12'' screen Laptop, it had xp home edition installed and everything seemed fine. but i wanted xp pro, so i reformatted the harddrive and installed my xp pro edition, but afterwards the screen is weird, only the center of the screen is showing the actual screen, the rest of the screen is just dark, its like i got a only 8'' laptop. i went into the control panel and try to change, but there is only the 640xwhatever option available. could some1 help me, thx

You will need to visit the Sony web site and download all the appropriate device drivers for your machine.
