Windows Xp OEM or Retail?
I was wondering what is missing in the OEM version of Windows xp when you purchase it? I've seen the differences explained in another section in the site but not specifically for OS. Should I buy OEM for a new build?

There is no difference between XP - be it OEM or retail. The only difference is in the lack of Microsoft phone support for OEM products (Microsoft assumes that the OEM will be providing support). If you are buying qualifying hardware, I would recommend going the OEM route.

Normally, you need to buy the OEM copy of XP with some hardware to "qualify" for the oem price. However, I buy from this place all the time and save a few bucks. Free shipping too.
