Losing Internet Connection

I have a customer that is using Verizon DSL, and for some reason keeps losing her connection only on wed, called verizon they said that system is up and running and no problems on any wed. Is there anything anybody can think of? Oh also replaced NIC and still the same problem.

Witch OS is on customer PC and specifications and is there any firewall, and other protection if there is first check for malware and firewall settings then you can try this: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html

Just a longshot here. She most likely doesn`t have a static Ip and her IP lease might expire every 7 days. Check that her NIC is configured to obtain IP address automatically and obtain DNS automatically.

Windows XP Home, already check for malware and firewall settings are correct. NIC settings are already set to obtain ip automatically, configuration is DSL modem then, wireless router D-Link. Already changed router and nic same outcome every wednesday.
