NT 4.0 or 98 SE ?

I just finished a machine on the cheap ($140) to be used for Folding @Home only. As for the OS, I have copies of 98SE and NT 4.0, which would be a better choice for this unit(as I said, it's on the cheap, don't want to buy another XP disc). It's a Soyo SY-P4VTP and a P4 1.8 Celey.

If it was me, I`d go with the W98. Even though you`re using it for folding only more or less, NT 4 is a business platform only and can be dicey when it comes to installing software, drivers, etc. plus it doesn`t support USB.

Just my thoughts.

Windows NT can't even support Plug and Play, which will mean major hassle with your hardware. 98SE is far superior.

Thanks guys, I forgot about the USB and PnP support on NT 4. 98SE it is.
