Diamond has not yet released fully functional Monster Sound MX400 Drivers, I have noticed that my Monster Sound MX400 now runs like a classic legacy sound blaster card. I have no poossible way of using out2 with the 2k drivers... which were originally made for NT4... anyways. I was wondering if there is kind of a bug or a tweak I could do to force win2k to use the w98 drivers and actually work?
Well if it doesnt work.... My friewnd is willing to do a trade with me. His sound blaster live x-gamer which i forced him to buy about 2 or 3 months ago for my mx400. Lets see the poll results! I dunno if i wanna ditch my MX400 its got A3D (SB Lives dont have that ...way better than EAX) and EAX. So please use the poll and help me decide... thanx! |

Well, there will never BE win2k drivers for that card, because Aureal went out of business and was absorbed into Creative Labs (who is not going to support any A3D stuff) - and Diamond is now part of "Sonic Blue" and is out of the sound card business. Go for a real Soundblaster, any flavor, or a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz.
