ie6setup problems. Help !!!

I have run ie6 setup.exe 5 times on my win/2000. The progress bar gets to 84% and will not install. I have left it at 84% for 1hr and still a no go. Anything I can do to get this installed. Should I delete everything and start over ?

Backing up a bit....Win2k came with IE. What happened to it?

What happens if and when you go to MS Update site to update IE there?

Send a message via AIM to Panama Red
Is it the Download that stops at Windows Update or is it the Installation that stops at 84%? You seem to indicate Install in your first post and Download in the 2nd. I'm confused.

edit: Here's the direct download of IE6 SP1 rather than using WU.
