Red face Windows 98 Clean Install Help!!

I would like to do a clean install on a windows 98 system. I have done this with XP home edition many times. But I don't think windows 98 is as easy.
I want to reformat the hard drive and to a complete new install. any body have an idea where to start. Is it like XP? just boot from the disk and go from there? I heard something about F-disk, what is that? Any help would be appreciated.

If you have any non MS drivers loaded for any of your hardware, ensure you have the source files before you format the drive. If you don't have the source files, back up the current drivers. If you need help on this, see my post here (#4) for files/instructions.
