Windows 2000 and Firewire scanners

Anybody ever had any luck installing a firewire scanner in Windows 2000. I just got a UMAX 6400 firewire scanner. It came with a firewire card but I already had a pinnacle firewire card in my system. I tried it with this card and with the new card, the same thing occured every time. In device manager it has a yellow exclamation point next to it. When I click on properties it tells me that no drivers have been installed for it. When I search for the driver on the CD-ROM or on the MS site or a freshly downloaded one, and try installing it the same thing always happens. It says that the driver doesn't have the MS digital signature, YES, NO, MORE INFO. When I click either YES or NO, the same thing happens. Here is a picture of what happens:

Now I have a DV camera that works fine. According to MS, the same drivers work for 98SE, ME, 2000. Any ideas?
