Event ID ( 7 ) in Source ( Disk ) cannot be foun

Somehow my computer is starting to get really slow. When I look at the event viewer, in the System Event log I found the following error:

Scan for viruses, trojans, and spyware. Run chkdsk /f on the hard drives. Run hard drive diagnostic software.

Many thanks for the help. I don't think it's virus...I did run Symantec Antivirus and so far not able to find any virus. However, I have not tried the chkdsk /f option. If I use that option, the computer will have to reboot and check the disk when it's booting, correct.
