multiple OSs in a hdd
I got a pc and it has win xp pro and 2000 pro. When i try to get into 2000 it says that some files are missing and can't load up. Win xp works fine but the lady who gave it to me had an account which I can't erase from the account she made for me because hers won't show up on the user accounts folder. Is there a way I could get rid of the win 2000 and her account on win xp with out having an original win xp cd to reinstall it all. Thanks!!!

To delete one admin account from XP you have to create Admin account with your name and take ownership then you can delete admin account witch was created with xp install (i mean that woman account):
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=308421 http://support.microsoft.com/default...279783&sd=tech http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...are/intro.mspx And to delete windows 2000 you will have to format that partition and all data on partition where is 2000 located will be deleted. To format partition log on in windows XP locate partition containing 2000 right click on that partition and choose format!!!

I have a adm acc. The only thing is that I can't see her acc anywhere. Only when the computer starts up. It no the regular username loggin scree (with pictures and all) it's just a box where you put the user name and password, nothing colorfull or full of pictures like most are.
