10061 message with IE
hi:
IE on my aging dell dimension stopped working (i have a dial-up connection). i get a 10061 error message when i launch the browser. curiously. AIM and yahoo IM both work, but IE doesn't. and i can use a vpn to access my corporate email (using outlook). i have disabled firewalls and norton, neither of which works. anyone have any tips? thanks! rik |

What version of IE are you using? Do you have any proxy servers configured? Have you tried disabling them?
