PC constantly rebooting

PC is constantly rebooting before welcome screen
cannot enter safe mode
cannot enter admin account
might be blaster worm but i cant find a DOS version of a cleaner

is there a defrag option in command prompt or DOS for XP?
tried chkdsk /p came back with structure errors so then did chkdsk /r
now i have a error free HDD i can over the top install XPSP1 and that should get me going?

tried seatools diagnostics the drive is fine but the file structure was corrupted before i ran chkdsk at command prompt.

I no the answer

Ive had this problem, to fix it you need a re-install of your operating system... i take it ure using xp if so you can even get back your documents (yey ), but only if you didnt make your folders private ( ).
1) stick in your xp cd
2) boot from the cd
3) reinstall windows (expect 1-2 hrs for this)

When your back on to retive your documents go to C:\Documents and settings\[ure user name]\My Documents

there you go,

Thats kinda a radical approach, I would try a repair install before I completely reformatted.

I must've tried the 'repair' option numerous times on numerous PC's.

Still waiting for one to work...*sigh*
