PC constantly rebooting
PC is constantly rebooting before welcome screen
cannot enter safe mode cannot enter admin account might be blaster worm but i cant find a DOS version of a cleaner is there a defrag option in command prompt or DOS for XP? tried chkdsk /p came back with structure errors so then did chkdsk /r now i have a error free HDD i can over the top install XPSP1 and that should get me going? tried seatools diagnostics the drive is fine but the file structure was corrupted before i ran chkdsk at command prompt. |

Ive had this problem, to fix it you need a re-install of your operating system... i take it ure using xp if so you can even get back your documents (yey
), but only if you didnt make your folders private ( ).1) stick in your xp cd 2) boot from the cd 3) reinstall windows (expect 1-2 hrs for this) When your back on to retive your documents go to C:\Documents and settings\[ure user name]\My Documents there you go, chivers |

I must've tried the 'repair' option numerous times on numerous PC's.
Still waiting for one to work...*sigh* |
