can't update XP
I'm notified that updates are available for windows, i click on the update icon in the taskbar and windows begins the update. It stops and says that an error has occured with update.exe, has anyone ever had this problem. Thanks

You may have adware. Update.exe is known to be possible adware. Do a full system adware scan and try doing it again.

update.exe is NOT a windows utility and is not connected with windows update.
DBG is right, you are infected with malware |
