Installation of WinXP and Win98
I already have windowsxp installed on C:.How can I install windows98 on D:? When ever I try to install windows98 from a CD, it only gets the path of C: for installation but I want to install it on D:?

might try here for some basic info

you must have w98 installed first and then install xp, it can be done the other way but it is much more difficult.
always hav the older system installed first. |

Every time I have had a multiple boot system I always had to load the oldest OS first ,then when I added a newer OS I answerd the question as a new install. I would wind up with both OS and could tab to either to run that particular OS

This thread is in the Tips and Tricks area here. It's a bit complicated but it can be done. The much easier way is as others have said, oldest os first, then add the newer versions.
