Can anyone tell me if I have a corrupt outlook.pst file and I need to reinstall, will I lose all my email messages and addresses in my "in and "sent box" and has anyone had the same issue?

Simple answer - the outlook.pst file contains almost everything in Outlook. It has all the mailboxes, contacts, calendars, journals, notes.

As EzyStvy indicated, let's find out what's going on. There are ways to fix .pst files, but it all depends what's wrong.
