Server 2003 and XP Workstation conflicts

I'm having trouble with two machines, one running Server 2003 Enterprise and one running XP Professional. The server is a domain controller and I've established accounts and roaming profiles to be used on the workstations within the domain. One workstation is giving me some trouble. I am able to log on successfully and my roaming profile loads without error, but soon after I log on I note the following Event Logs:

Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network. (The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. ). Group Policy processing aborted.

Automatic certificate enrollment for local system failed to contact the active directory (0x8007054b). The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
Enrollment will not be performed.

Windows cannot determine the user or computer name. (The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. ). Group Policy processing aborted.

The Security System detected an attempted downgrade attack for server cifs/CABAL. The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was "There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.
(0xc000005e)".

The Security System could not establish a secured connection with the server cifs/CABAL. No authentication protocol was available.

I then notice that the top of the start menu, which normally reads "Admin Account" when I first log on, has reverted back to my logon username. Then when I try to browse any of the server shares, I'm prompted to enter a username and password to connect to the server. When I enter my logon username and password (which should work because it's a domain admin account) I get an error message stating:

Logon unsuccessful. The username you typed is the same as the username you logged in with. That username has already been tried. A domain controller cannot be found to verify that username.

Any suggestions?
