Windows XP network sharing trouble

Hi,

I'm having trouble with file sharing. I've done it numerous times. It works on all my comps with Windows XP Professional, but some reason it's not working for my last comp.

It's running Home Edition. Maybe this could be it?
The network connection does in fact work. I can access the other computer files, but some reason they cannot access this ones. I've checked the firewall, and everything else.

What is also very strange is that I can access this computer's files by typing in the \\workgroupname\folder\ That seems to work perfectly. Some reason the folder does not show up on "My Network Places". Also when I try to go to "view workgroup computers" and try to access the computer I recieve the error "Access Denied".

Any ideas on how to resolve this problem? Thanks.
