Regedit problem

I am unable to get to regedit using W-98-SE..Type it in the box and the screen goes black and a error message...Scanned for virus and spyware and found nothing. Running a p-3-800 with 512 Ram..

Try running it from a DOS box so you can see why it's closing down. Type in COMMAND to open one up.

I was able to get to the registry through the command thanks,So any ideas on how to fix it to work from "run" or isnt it important?

If it's important or not is up to you. To try to figure out why, open a DOS box as mentioned earlier so you can see any errors or the like; meaning, it won't automatically close on you.

Ok whatever the problem was its now gone after a re-boot..
