Reinstall left my folder locked
recently i reinstalled my win2000 machine.
Only to discover that mydocuments (for all users, on D  is no longer accesable.How or what should i do. please help as i have some major docs in there. Last edited by marli; 08-04-2005 at 07:35 AM. |

That's a permissions problem. Right click the folder, choose security, and use the add and remove buttons to add the permissions for the new users(new to this install of Windows 2000 not you), then remove the old users that show up as unknown users. That should cure your problem.
