This is a problem pertaining to my friend's PC. The CD-drives weren't appearing in "My Computer". With my little knowledge about the problem, I referred to the microsoft site, and, I edited the registry by deleting the 'Upper Filters' and 'Lower Filters' in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} registry path. After deleting all the 'Upper Filters' and 'Lower Filters' in the above specified registry path, and restarting the system, the mouse and keyboard stopped functioning. Maybe, I read the wrong solution in the microsoft's support site.
We are caught in a great trouble. Pls help us !! |
