Opening Bin Files

I was wondering what to use to open BIN files?

There are several types of files with the .bin extension, depends exactly what it is and what its purpose is.

You can use deamon tools, youl need a cue file for the bin file and open this, you can use nero to make a cd from the bin file, youl also need the cue for this.

Explicit - are you asking how to open such a file, because an unknown file has appeared in a folder in your computer? If so, make sure to scan files of unknown origin = in case they might be malware-related. If you need help identifying it, post the name and location here & we might be able to help identify it [... and you always have the option of a Google search, which seem to find just about anything].

[P.S. -- one of .bin extensions techs see a lot are Bios update files. The .bin in these cases stands for "binary". These files can be used to help motherboards work well with the latest equipment, for example. There are many others, just as glc mentions - the source and location of the file should help you figure what program might use that file].
