How to Remove NT from XP system?
Right now i'm prompted when i boot to choose between NT or XP, is there any way to remove NT? I don't think there are any files on NT that I need, & if there are can i just transfer them to the XP from the C drive?
i don't have any of the computers original discs (it came with XP & another person put NT on & erased XP, I've reloaded XP with my other computers XP disc) i'm just worried i'll lose my other Microsoft products Excel....once again no discs... any help is great! |

Boot into Xp. Start\control panel\system\advanced\star up and recovery. Under system start up. Choose Windows XP as default. Clear the box that says "display a list of operating systems".
Click your way out and on restart XP should load on it`s own. |

No, that won`t remove NT but simply remove the option to boot to it when starting. It an be changed at any time.
