window on laptop
ok i have a compaq presario 2100 laptop and when i turn it on it goes to the windows log on screen but the there no name to log on to there no button on there with the pic and name mothing can't do anything but restart and shut down. i found the clt alt del thin to the admistation thing but that don't work it say i have wrong name or password but i dont remmber puting a password on there any thong will help thanks sorry it windows xp home edition

you push F8 before logging in windows

ok i got it to get to safe mode but it did the same thing no name to log on to
