x64 Problems

OK, so I have xp professional 32 on my c drive partition, I downloaded and burned the xp professonal to a cd and am attempting to install it on my g partition and set up a dual boot. I set my cd roms to boot first in Bios but that didn't have anyaffect, I taped f8, selected cd rom drive to boot and that had no affect, so then I disabled the harddrives from the boot order and left it with just the cdrom drive. It went through the boot process then said " PLEASE INSERT SYSTEM DISK THEN PRESS ENTER" so I put in the x64 disk hit enter and got the same message, I tried the x64 disk in my other cdrom drive and again the same message . What am I doing wrong? I have 64 bit compatible hardware, and I know that the x64 doesnt use a boot disk floppy like 32 bit xp pro.
Thanks In Advance,
Ryan124712

The file you downloaded was an ISO file correct? When you view at the cd in win explorer, do you only see the ISO file or do you see several folders and files?

YES the files are in ISO, prehaps I didnt burn it properly, I just merely copied the file from where it downloaded from to, (a folder in c drive) to cd. Im thinking of just ordering the CD, since it is only a 120 day trial I was thinking of timing it to finish around that time when Windows Vista comes out so I can just install that over top of the x64. They don't ship the cd's to Argentina, so I'll have to get it shipped to my dad's po box in the US and then shipped here, Im taking about a month wait just for the stupid trial that should have worked the first time!!!!

Note that we do not support installation of downloaded operating systems here.

However, I will say that you need to read the help files for your CD burning software on how to open and burn an ISO image. XP's builtin burning engine does not support this, you need Nero, Roxio, etc.
