floppy drive goes nuts seeking at random on win2k
I've got a win2k machine with a 80GB HDD and 512MB of ram. I just recently installed Norton Antivirus and ever since then the floppy drive seems to want to search at the blink of an eye. I've heard that NAV will cause this and I've disabled the functions that search the floppy's for files to scan for viruses and I've even gone as far as to completely disable NAV. Even though I've tried these various tactics and I've cleared out the recently viewed/accessed files the floppy still searching randomly.
