XP problem... minor, but crazymaking
The taskbar is double the regular size and will NOT disappear with the use of the double mouse arrow. It is not locked. So when I am in display properties setup, it hides "apply" and "ok." I can't even change screen resolution to higher numbers due to those buttons being hidden by the taskbar not budging. The unmoving taskbar has consumed my morning. How do I solve this? It seems so minor, but really isn't.
Have tried fixing resolution with larger font, due to my eyesight, but the taskbar is not allowing it. Also, when properties of Start Menu is open, the OK and APPLY choices are hidden. I get so much help in this forum, cannot express how thankful I am for the outstanding assistance. Last edited by Rubicon; 08-17-2005 at 12:09 PM. |

If the taskbar is unlocked, you should be able to place the cursor over the top edge until you see the double black arrow going up and down. Click and drag the top edge down to the proper size. Then lock it.

Yep, I should have been able to do that. In all the years I've operated a pc, I could do that. I could not do that this morning. It was not locked, but it would not move.
