XP Anecdote.

My dad rents students houses and we recently had 2 new chinese students move in. We were testing our new wireless routing in the house but were hitting issues with the computers. Both lads had chinese xp installed so i couldnt read a thing. Neither of them could figure out the problem and were about to give up.. I decided to have a quick look. No sooner was i on the computer than i realised that i was browsing the menus like they were english. Every menu had been inprinted upon my mind and i was wizzing through wizards and menus quicker than they were in a language i'v never even seen. not surprising to say they were astonished that 3 or 4 minutes later i had located the problem (one of the students wireless did not support wpa encryption). 2 minutes down the line it was all changed to wep and all was working. it amazed me just how much of xp i could navigate without reading a single letter. Lead me to believe i'v speant way too much time fixing xp boxes. I wish i could say i could navigate my girlfriend as well as that. Unfortunately i now have a whole chinese community's computers to look at. I have to learn to say NO!

just thought it was an amusing anecdote. has anyone had a similar experiences?
