genuine advantage
starting to get a trickle of business thanks to the genuine advantage roadblock. my question is this. when they bring in the computer and a new legal copy of xp is it possible to run an upgrade with the legal copy or a repair install or something in order to leave all their programs intact?
thanks, alan |

You may just insert the new serial #/CD Key - try this: http://windows.about.com/library/tips/bltip721.htm

Whoa, that magical jelly bean is really neat, i wish it would tell me the cd key for my office xp. I lost the key, cant instal it, and haven't bothered calling Microsoft yet.
