blue screen error - not Stop

ok - i just had a blue screen error, but it wasn't a Stop one (didn't have all the number stuff on it) - what looked like important info on it was:
"Problem caused by file: wdmaud.sys
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA"

"Address F2A99755 base at F2A90000, Datestamp 41107ee7"

all microsoft said after sending report was could be because of hardware - well i haven't installed any new hardware for a while. but, microsoft usually isnt' clear anyways on this stuff.

i have a custom built pc:
AMD Athlon XP 2500+
Chaintech motherboard (7VIF4 Via KM400+VT8235)
BFG Nvidia Geforce 6200 OC 8x AGP 256mb
1gb ram (heatsink things on both too)
120gb hard drive (cooler on it)
2 case fans and new power supply only about 1 month old - recently cleaned all fans and dust from inside case also and is always very cool inside *cooler than the room it sits in!*

any thoughts on this one? i searched the file and was found 3 times in these locations:
1. - C:\WINDOWS\$NtServicePackUninstall$
2. - C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386
3. - C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers

the description for the file is the same for all 3, it says:
"MMSYSTEM Wave/Midi API mapper", file version is 5.1.2600.0
