MS Word - How to increase font size by a %
Hello,
Suppose you have a text in MS Word which contains letters, characters, etc of different font sizes; say, the titles are of size 12, the paragraph text of 8, some words in the paragraph have size 10 and so forth. Is it possible to ''Select All' and increase the size of all the letters by a percentage, of say, 15% ? And when i print this document to have this 15% increase in the printout? Thanks.

Can try highlighting all test. Right click and select FONT. Check out the Character Spacing function.

You can do it this way:
Select all the text and press ctrl+]. All text will be increased in size by one poit every time you use the combo, and the proportions will stay the same i. e. 14 point text will become 15 pt. and 15pt. will become 16pt. Using ctrl+shift+>/< will increase/decrease the font size to the next size in Word's built in size list, with the proportions staying the same. I do not know whether Word can work in % font sizes. I do not believe it can.

To use the shortcut key combo I gave you before (CTRL+]/[ and (CTRL+>/< ), press and hold CTRL key and tap one of the other keys to perform the action. Each tap will increase/decrease font size one time.
To view a complete list of Word's keyboard shortcuts, right click your toolbar and select "Customize". Then on the "Commands" panel, click the "Keyboard" button. From the dialog that pops up, you can view all assigned keyboard shortcuts or assign new ones. Go Here to see how you can create a document containing a list of all keyboard shortcuts (system and user assigned) in Word. NPP |

Simultaneous handling of MS Word files

Let's say you have several MS Word documents in the My Documents folder/directory, (say 20 files); is it possible to achieve the text (%) increase described above in all files simultaneously? |
