Question Easy video driver install Q.

Okay, I have my new NVidia 6800GT installed and up and running with the(now outdated)factory CD drivers.
It's time to update.I've downloaded the latest driver for the card.
Should I just go ahead and install the driver, or is there a better way to go about it? I'm running Windows XP sp1.

You should go ahead and install. Nothing will happen You may have to restart, but thats it.

Simply power down your system, remove the old card, insert the new card, and restart. Nvidia's newer drivers have really made this kind of change a piece of cake.

I changed from a TNT2 to a GF2 MX220 to a GF5600 without ever needing to reinstall drivers. Just shut down, popped in the new card and booted up.
