Question Power supply problem with SLI

Okay I recently bought a new computer, I put it all together it turns on and stuff but I can't open any applications accept for MSN and Internet explorer so I can't play games or anything

Specs of my pc are

AMD FX-55
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
2x Corsair dual channel 512 overclocked ddr ram
2x GF 6800GT

and other stuff if u need to know it

when ever i open an app my computer freezes and a blue screen saying

"A problem has been dectected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer

The problem seems to be caused by the following file nv4_disp

The device driver got stuck in an infinite lopp this usually indicates problem with the deivce itself or with the device driver programming."

has anyone seen this b4? and might know how to fix it? thanks for ur time

the fact that it says "nv4_disp" would leave me to believe that its your video card, since its a GeForce and uses the nVidia chipset...you might want to try and reinstall the drivers for the video card. Thats just something you can try for now...I will see if I cant find something a little more solid for you to go on.

The PSU you linked is only a ATX 20 pin and the mother board your using uses ATX 2.0 24 pin power cable connection. Also, since your running a SLI setup, need to go with a SLI certified PSU.
