Exclamation how do i reformat?

whats the prompt to wipe my hard drive? i got xp home and got the full (non upgrade version) of xp pro. quick response plz!

Just go through the OS installation process again...you'll have the option of wiping the hard drive and installing WinXP again.

If you really want to wipe the hard drive you'll need a zero-fill utility for that.

it is fixing to go over the other operating system...can we take off the other one later??

If you do a zero-fill, it wipes everything( it just puts zeros on the drive). If you do a XP install, it will do a format over what ever is on the drive.

The "other one" won't be there to "take off"...it'll be gone because the WinXP installer formats the partition before WinXP is installed.

we just poped in the "drivers" cd that came with the computer when my dad bought it and it had an option to format so we did so and got it all dandy thanks for the help anyways guys luv yas! (in a non gay way of course! )
