Weird thing happening in Thumbnail mode

In a few folders on my comp, if I switch to thumbnail mode, folder and file names seem to have disappeared on me. Attached is a pic of whats going on. I only took a fraction of the image of that folder to reduce the filesize a little, but you'll get the jist of whats going on. Any thoughts?

TIA,
CN

Try pressing F5.

Tried that x100. still no luck. My wild guess is perhaps theres some sort of cache that needs to be cleaned or something, or am I way off the ball?

TIA,

It's a feature of XP, makes for a great way of viewing thumbnails especially for Images. This is what you do.
Switch out of Thumbnail mode to something like list.
Now press the Shift key and switch back to thumbnail.
The shift key when invoking thumbnail mode will hide out the filenames.

You're welcome, yes it is a feature and quite a nice one, esp for me, it allows me, for example, to look at images based on their content not based on their filenames.

Yeah, i can see how thats an advantage. me? I have to many screwed up categories for my content that the names really help, otherwise I end up with a lot of images and no direction
