Computer will not Shutdown...

My computer was fine till, my sister installed McAfee virus blocker and firewall. Because our Norton subscription was up, and then after that my computer was fine but it will not shutdown now. I go to start shutdown and it begins to shutdown but stays on the screen that says your computer is shutting down. And never shuts off so you have to press the button for a hard shutdown. That’s not good so I was wondering if anyone knew why it was doing that or how to fix it, I have been in performance and maintenance and all the power options are the same as they always been. any help will be appreciated.

try uninstalling mcaffee, completely uninstalling norton (try using this ) and then reinstalling mcaffee.

Just so you know, you don't have to buy your anti-virus software, there are free alternatives (and most are actually better than McAfee).
