Message Service - illegal adds!
YesterdayI had all sorts of threatening adds that my computer was full of viruses etc.These adds came about every 2 or 3 minutes -most annoying!
They came under the heading of MESSAGE SERVICE I had "norton 2005"running but it did not stop them. After a while I realised "XP" had a message service ( I don't use this service) I then went to the control panel - to administrator then to services & disabled message service. This stopped all these annoying adds that popped up! I hope this information will help those who have the same problem - and there must be many . ALLAN BUSHELL SYDNEY AUSTRALIA |
