I have some questions on the playablility of dvds using Windows Media Player 9. I have Windows XP Pro.
-Is there any way you can play the .VOB files or DVD disc from the HDD(like we do for PowerDVD)? -Is there any other settings required for using the graphic equalizer when you play a dvd in WMP9.I ask this because i can adjust it when i play other media files like mp3, DiVX and MPEG.But when i play a DVD the graphic equalizer does not show any effect in the sound output at all..Why is this? I would appreciate any suggestion from your side, Thanks, Ed. |

I'll answer the easier of the two questions
![]() Yes, you can play .vob files from the hard drive. Simply turn the 'list' on the far right to 'Playlist', and drag and drop VOB files to this list. Then they should simply play in order. Freakitchen

Anything else that I missed? Is this a bug or is the graphic equalizer supposed to work only with files other than DVDs?
