Missing/Corrupt File?

I just recently installed win xp pro and everthing went smoothly. Upon rebooting I received an error message stating that file win32/drivers may be missing or corrupt and suggesting I repair the install. I tried just reseting and then windows boots up normal with no problems. This occurs everytime I shutdown the computer and boot up. Each time I can correct the problem by resetting. Why is this happening? Has anyone else experienced this symptom?

What are your complete system specs? Sounds like you may have bad RAM.

MSI k7n2gm-v mobo
Corsair value select ddr400 2x512mb
amd athlon xp 2600+
antec slk1650b case w/ 350 smart power
nec dvd burner
windows xp pro
thermaltake cpu fan/heatsink

The ram check seems to run smooth but I'm definitely not an authority. Please let me know what you think. Everything is new and if the ram is bad I need to get newegg to replace it asap.

Thanks

It could be bad RAM but since it always gives the error that win32\drivers is missing or corrupt may indicate a bad sector on the HDD. Try running chkdisk and a diagnostic utility from the HDD manufacturer.
