blue screen: page fault in nonpaged area

can anyone tell me please what would cause this? i get this often, and often is causes me to lose work ive done on here... also says somthing about dumping memory to disk.

faulty ram?

yea, 1 minute after i posted, another blue screen, this time in the technical information all it said was " STOP:0x0000008e" (then a few more like that one)


what is going on here?

Need more info.

What kind of computer is this? Home built or name brand?

What are the system specs?

What OS are you using?

Next time you get a BSOD, write down the entire error message and error code and post it here.

Are you getting it only in one program or is it random?

Have you tested the RAM with a memory tester yet? The two most common are Memtest86+ and DocMemory.

similar type of error, now after a blue screen come up with gibberish i dont know buch of codes and such, after windows restarts its error message came up and is said this was the cause: (screen shot)

just got another blue screen and this time its an error ive never saw before
