Cannot empty recycle bin
I have deleted my files and it's now in the Recycle Bin. However, I can not empty the recycle bin. It kept saying a folder is not empty. First, how do I delete it? Second, where in my profile, we use roaming profile with folder redirection, do I find all the files I've deleted that is in the Recycle Bin?
Help is appreciated. |

Try running disk clean up and see if it lets you delete the files there.

Hi Charlie,
Do you have Norton installed on the pc.It has an option called Norton-Protected Recycle Bin.Right-click on the recycle bin on the Desktop and you should see an option to empty the files from the Norton-Protected Recycle Bin. If you do not have Norton installed then do a virus check on the hard drive especially the Windows folder in your OS. Keep us posted. |
