Cannot empty recycle bin

I have deleted my files and it's now in the Recycle Bin. However, I can not empty the recycle bin. It kept saying a folder is not empty. First, how do I delete it? Second, where in my profile, we use roaming profile with folder redirection, do I find all the files I've deleted that is in the Recycle Bin?

Help is appreciated.

Try running disk clean up and see if it lets you delete the files there.

Hi Charlie,

Do you have Norton installed on the pc.It has an option called Norton-Protected Recycle Bin.Right-click on the recycle bin on the Desktop and you should see an option to empty the files from the Norton-Protected Recycle Bin. If you do not have Norton installed then do a virus check on the hard drive especially the Windows folder in your OS.

Keep us posted.
