activation again
I activated my windows xp back in Aug becuase i changed out some hardware and of course i had to call microsfot which i hate so much. I just restarted my comoputer into safe mode and now it is saying that I need to reactivate again becuase there has been hardware changes. I rebooted back into regular mode and it is saying i need to activate. I really hate calling microsoft to get the activation code. Why did it do this?

Try activating through the internet, it should do it if you have had no change in hardware. There are a number of issues with why this happens, it could be something like adware or a virus triggering it. Check \windows\system32\wpa.dbl the filesize before reactivation is ~3KB, while the filesize after activation is ~14KB. Once the activation takes place back up your wpa.dbl and wpa.bak
