Question Is MP3 encoding possible with WMP 9?

Is there any way you can make Windows Media Player 9 to rip audio to MP3s instead of WMA files? The WMP lists options for WMA (constant and variable bitrates) only.

on this site you can find anything that WMP 9 can do I don't think that you can rip to MP3 with WMP.

You can try Blaze Media Pro ... http://www.blazemp.com/

I think it is, I think you just need an appropriate codec or as Microsoft calls it a "creation pack". This is in the form of a plugin that is available here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...mp3create.aspx

Personally, I think you'll find CDex and any mp3 codec you install is a hard combination to beat, both in terms of price (it's free) and performance (it's fast)!
