I use IE 6.0 with SP2 and when I try to "Save As" a *.mpg file from a web site, the file is saved as *.mpa on my local drive. How can I register the file to be saved as a *.mpg file?

.mpa is simply an MPEG layer 1 audio file. That's most likely what the file actually is.

You would think so, but when I load the .*mpa file in Window Media Player, it contains video. I think my setting in my Browser/PC renames the file extension from a .mpg to .mpa. In fact, the small popup window indicates that the file on the server has a mpg extension, and the traget file has the .mpa extension.
